Jewellery Wax Carving
Wax Carving Classes for Jewellery Design
At Stephen Barnett Jewellery in Farnham, Surrey, I offer specialist wax carving classes designed to teach you how to create professional-quality wax masters for jewellery manufacture.
In these hands-on sessions, you’ll learn how to:
Design and carve a wax model to industry standards
Apply accurate tolerances for casting and stone setting
Prepare and refine your work for lost wax casting
Develop a logical, repeatable workflow that builds confidence for future projects — no matter how complex your designs become
We’ll also discuss every stage of the lost wax casting process, from concept to finished piece, so you can understand how to transform your ideas into physical jewellery using professional techniques.
Once your piece has been cast, you have the option to return for a follow-up class to set stones, polish, and finish your jewellery — completing the full creative process from start to finish under expert guidance.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced jeweller looking to expand your skills, these one-to-one wax carving classes will give you the technical knowledge and confidence to take your jewellery design to the next level.
